Test Analyst – Property Software

Salary: £17,000 - £25,000 dependant on experience

Based in their Lincolnshire office, one of the world’s leading suppliers of property and facilities management software are currently looking to recruit Test Analysts. The company offers the property industry’s most comprehensive portfolio of applications, technologies and expertise, and has helped thousands of customers manage every aspect of their property portfolio over the last 30 years.

The Test Analyst position is an important one within the company. Your main responsibility in the role will be to perform manual testing roles, with aspects of requirements analysis and documentation. You will test all aspects of the company’s property management and accounting product. You will also plan, design and perform tests, report findings and recommendations, work with the programmers to resolve issues, analyse requirements, map requirements to the software, and produce user and technical documentation.

The ideal candidate for the Test Analyst role must have experience or qualifications in either user acceptance / system testing, property management, and/or accounts or book-keeping. Experience with Windows based products, ie. Word, Excel etc, Web based technologies, would also be beneficial. Good communication skills and the right approach are more important with this role than experience in individual areas. Applicants must have a good eye for detail and be able to work in a structured, methodical manner with minimal supervision.
